What is a Featured Dive Centre?
A Featured Dive Centre is given premium visibility on the Dive Buddy platform. Featured Dive Centres appear at the top of local search results, on the home screen for nearby divers, and benefit from additional exposure across the app. Featured Dive Centres appear more prominently and benefit from a reduced commission on bookings.
How many featured dive centres are allowed per area?
Only one Dive Centre per local area can be featured at any time. This exclusivity ensures maximum visibility and competitive advantage for the featured partner in that region.
How much does it cost to become featured?
The current limited-time offer is just £300 per year, reduced from the standard price of £600. This works out to only £25/month when paid annually.
Can I pay monthly instead?
At the moment, we offer the annual option only to secure the discounted rate. We may introduce monthly payment options in future, but this offer is available exclusively on a yearly basis.
What are the commission rates for featured dive centres?
Featured dive centres benefit from lower commission rates on bookings:
5.5% base rate
4.5% for 20 referrals/month
3.5% for 30 referrals/month
2.5% for 40+ referrals/month
Compare this with standard commission rates, which start at 7.5%.
What happens if someone else in my area becomes featured first?
Once an area is claimed, it’s locked in for that dive centre. You won’t be able to become featured in that region until the current sponsor’s term ends or they cancel. That’s why we recommend securing your spot as soon as possible.

Will I be tied into a long-term contract?
No. The featured listing is billed annually, and you’re free to choose whether to renew each year. There are no hidden cancellation fees.
Can I secure my Featured status for more than one year?
Yes! When when purchasing the Featured Dive Centre package, you have the option to purchase additional years. Even better, you can secure the top spot in your area at the current discounted price for as many years as you like.
